Guarantee- 10 Years

Dempsey warrants that any defects in workmanship during the construction of paved driveways, patios or similar domestic installation will be made good free of charge for a period of up to 10 years commencing from the date of completion subject to the following noted conditions. Materials used are covered under the terms of the supplier.

• This guarantee will only take effect once the contract has been completed to the satisfaction of all parties involved and full payment of the contract price has been settled.
• Dempsey shall endeavour to make good any remedial works in colour, pattern and finish as specified in the original contract, but no assurance can be given that an exact recreation may be achieved as this depends upon the availability of materials used.
• This guarantee covers the installation for reasonable use, it does not extend to cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance (including re-pointing if necessary), impact damage, frost damage, commercial/industrial use or staining caused by any spillages.
• Settlement attributable to the construction of the works is covered, but settlement attributable to the construction of work not the responsibility of Dempsey is not covered. Cover for any settlement in the ground level lower than that exposed during construction, resulting from, for example, the failure or collapse of any pre-existing installation is excluded.
• Movement, expansion or contraction of sub-soil or base due to changes in temperature, water content and tree root activity are outside the control of Dempsey and no guarantee can therefore be given should any damage occur due to these or related factors.
• This guarantee covers failure of the paving to drain properly, in that if after rainfall when the rest of the paving has dried out there is an area still retaining water.
• In the early life products may appear to loose some intensity of colour or even experience a milky white stain on the surface. This is known as efflorescence, which is of a temporary nature and is not harmful to the performance of the paving. Dempsey can not accept any responsibility for the occurance of this and the product will be covered under the terms of the supplier.
• It is important for the paving to recieve regular maintenace in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer of the product. Dempsey will advise on the requirements, but if maintenance is neglected this will not become the liability of Dempsey.
• In the event of a defect arising, which may be covered by this guarantee, full written details must be submitted to Dempsey within seven days of the discovery of the alleged defect.
